I've helped fund 12 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.

The Longest Day - Job done

Yesterday, 7 of my Westpac colleagues and I took on the Longest Day golf challenge to raise money for the Cancer Council.

For the golfers out there, we played Castlecove 9 hole public golf course which has a par rating of 64. 

My statistics for the 54 holes we played were:-
265 strokes 
Rounds of 88, 91 & 86 strokes
Stableford scores of 30, 27 & 34
1 lost ball
2 birdies
9 pars
19 bogeys
17 double bogeys
5 wipes
0 hole in ones
1 well earned beer and a sausage sandwich!

So far our team the Westpac One Woods have raised more than  $5600 for this worthy cause.  Thank you to all that have donated.

I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

...the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day!

I'll be testing my skill, strength, and stamina to raise funds for life saving cancer research.

1 in 2 Australians will be affected by cancer by the age of 85, I want to help change this by making every hole count!
