I've helped fund 46 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.

I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

Like so many other Australians I have seen far too many people I care about, suffer due to cancer. I watched on as my beloved grandmother slowly lost her life to breast cancer. And she is not the only person I care about that I have seen battle this terrible disease.
Then on 25th September this year my wife, Leanne, came home from the doctors and told me that she too has cancer. After assortment of tests we were told that she has stage 3 melanoma. So now our own cancer journey begins.
I have decided that i want to do something to help the Cancer Council. They are an amazing organization that have already helped us in many ways. So on the 8th December I will be participating in the Longest Day fund-raiser. I have chosen to play back to back games of golf (trust me the way I play golf it definitely will be the Longest Day) along with my brother Jason and friend Peter. We have set a fund-raising goal of $1500. It would mean a lot to us if people reading this were able to make a donation for this wonderful cause. It does not matter if your donation is large or small. Every dollar helps, and together we can make a difference.
