Surviving The Longest Day: 72 Holes, 1,248 Shots, and Zero Birdies
So, I’ve signed up for The Longest Day—not a Netflix binge, but the Cancer Council’s ultimate golf challenge. The mission? Survive 72 holes of golf in one day. That’s four rounds, in case you’re wondering, and possibly 1,248 swings (if we’re being honest about my game).
It’s my 3rd year attempting to break my personal record of finding the most sand traps in a single round, all for a fantastic cause—raising funds for life-saving cancer research.
I’ll be out there testing my endurance, stamina, and, let's face it, patience, as I take on this marathon of missed putts and lost balls. But hey, it's all worth it, right?
So, while I’ll be battling the sun, the rough, and my questionable golf skills, I’m hoping you’ll help me hit my real target: raising money to help fight cancer. Wish me luck, because I’ll need it—especially by hole 56 when I start hallucinating birdies.
