I've helped fund 12 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day in Remembrance of Mosese Waqa
Earlier this year we lost a truly special person, Mosese Waqa, who fought bravely against cancer until the very end. He showed strength, generosity and unwavering spirit in the face of illness. He was a person of remarkable kindness, grace, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
Cancer affects us all directly or indirectly. In fact, 1 in 2 Australians will be affected by cancer by the age of 85. For Mosese, and for so many others, the fight is not just personal- it’s a battle that impacts families, friends, and entire communities.
To honor Mosese’s memory and help others facing the same challenge, I’m going to be participating in Cancer Council’s Longest Day Challenge by completing four rounds of golf in one day! This challenge will test my skill, strength, and stamina.
By raising funds for life saving cancer research, we hope to make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.
Your support means everything. We ask that you donate today in memory of Mosese, and for all those affected by cancer. Join us in the fight for a cancer free future.
