36 Holes Completed!

Monday December 9th was an ideal day in Adelaide to play two full rounds of golf to raise funds for Cancer Council. Our team, "Par-Tee MOGC" started our first round at 7:24am in chilly, clear sky conditions that were ideal.

After a fantastic morning on the course, with stableford scores of 40, 38, 31, and 30, the team enjoyed a delicious lunch sponsored by the Mount Osmond Golf Club Competition and Grounds Committee  - thank you for your support!

Fueled and ready, we hit the course again for their second 18 holes as a social round in the afternoon starting a 1pm. The warmer weather didn't stop us from finishing strong, though we were looking forward to cold beers to toast their achievement. With the clubhouse closed, Ray Diamond saved the day by treating the team to well-deserved tinnies from the Pro Shop.

The team has raised an impressive $2,836 so far-an amazing effort for a truly worthy cause. When asked if we'd do it again, the answer was a resounding yes, with talk of upping the ante to 54 holes next time!

Par-Tee MOGC update 27 November 2024

Hi all, thank you to our very generous donors supporting our fundraising for The Longest Day event. We've now exceeded $1,700 in donations towards a $4,000 target thanks to your generosity.

Kev Cringle has had to pull-out of playing on the day (6 December) and fellow Mount Osmond Golf Club member Lachlan Munday has joined the team as our 4th player.

I've updated our team photo to include Lach, who has the honor of being the youngest on our team. And he's a great guy.
