We're taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day!

Here we go again!! Andrea has done the longest day challenge with her friend, Martin Forbes, again with her beautiful sister Carolyn McMickan and now gets to do it again with her golf sister and very dear friend Debbie Kesper! Debbie and Andrea have worked together over the years: A Rehabilitation Consultant who gets people back on their feet and me.....a wound Nurse practitioner... hence the name 'The walking wounded'  created by one of the best people to play golf with....Janelle Brennan :)

We might be a little crazy, but what better way to raise funds for cancer research. Skin cancer has always been very close to Andreas heart as her husband, Brett, has been living with skin cancer for  all of their married life. Its not just about removing a little spot here and there for him, but multiple major surgeries, radiotherapy and has often been a very tough journey. The Medical and Nursing staff who have supported him along the way have literally saved his life more than once. For Debbie and Andrea, it is a way to raise awareness and funds for much needed research to prevent and management skin cancers, especially non melanoma skin cancer. We have both had personal and professional experience and see the devastation that skin cancer can bring

We will be testing our skill, strength, and stamina to raise funds for life saving cancer research. We can banter well enough that our friendship should remain intact though!
