I've helped fund 16 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
Hi everyone!
I’m excited to be participating in The Longest Day, an endurance golf challenge that pushes my skills, stamina and (most of all) patience to the limit. The goal? To play 72 holes in one day, walking 35km from sunrise to sunset, while raising much-needed funds for Cancer Council.
This event is about more than just shanking little white balls around the course; it’s about coming together to make a real difference in the fight against cancer. In that spirit, I’ve teamed up with three of my mates to raise funds and awareness, as well as support eachother through what will be a testing yet enjoyable day of golf!
Cancer has touched all of our lives in some way—whether through personal battles, supporting loved ones, or hearing the stories of friends and colleagues. In Australia, an alarming 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. This highlights the importance of the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, and support services in striving for a future free from cancer.
It’s not a solo round—it takes all of us to help save lives and provide hope for those affected by this disease.
Please help by donating to this important cause. Every dollar brings us one step closer to a world without cancer. Let’s tee off for a cancer free future!
