Raise your club’s profile, reach new members and help create a cancer free future – all in a day’s work for The Longest Day Clubs Crew!
Did you know that almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85? Tackling cancer takes all of us.
Join hundreds of golf clubs around Australia and register your club to be part of Cancer Council's The Longest Day. Let's tee off for a cancer free future!
Here are four easy ways your club can get involved.
Become a Legendary Open Links Club
It’s easy to do. Here’s what’s involved:
- Open your club to non-members for the challenge and waive green fees.
- Cancer Council will list you on their website and promote your club through their social channels.
- You’ll get increased traffic through your club and possibly new members – it’s a win-win!
Sign up as an awesome Longest Day Green Fees Club
If you're unable to waive fees this year, sign up to be a Green Fees Club! You can get involved at whatever level you like:
- Encourage members and be open for non-members to take on the challenge for a fee.
- You can offer a package fee that covers green fees, golf cart, food etc.
- Put up our promotional posters and flyers in your Pro shop and around the club, share through newsletter call out and on social pages.
Be a Longest Day Members Only Club
As a private club, support and encourage your members to take on the challenge!
- Promote the challenge around your club and put up our promotional posters and flyers in your Pro shop, share through a newsletter call out and on social pages.
Challenge your staff to put in a team
Be an ACE and put in a club team – challenge your golf pro to take on a members team and raise funds for cancer research.
- Register a team
- Take on the ultimate golf challenge (72 holes in one day)
- Raise vital funds to help people impacted by cancer
